Wendell and Holmes Murphy's vision not only revolutionized agribusiness but also uplifted local farmers. Today, as Murphy Family Ventures celebrates 20 years, we honor our roots, our hard work, and the community that has grown with us.
Organizational Announcements
Congratulations to Chelsea Davis on her recent promotion to Enviro Tech 1 Sow Farm Manager. Chelsea started with MFV in 2015 as a Herd Technician with the Stantonsburg Farm. While there she was promoted to Head of Department and Assistant Sow Farm Manager. We are happy to have her with the Environmental team. Chelsea is pictured below with Production Manager Jimmy Gainey.
Congratulations to Casey Adkins on her recent promotion to Broiler Farm Manager at Ironside Chicken Farm! Casey previously spent two summers in our MFV Internship Program before joining us as a Production Trainee. Most recently, Casey was at Mako Chicken Farm. Please join us in congratulating Casey and wishing success in her new role!

Scorecard Winners
Each month our sow farms participate in healthy competition in an effort to reward the highest levels of productivity. This is measured in three areas, farrowing rate, pigs weaned, and conception rate/RTU. Each of the winning teams receives a catered meal of their choice.

Ozark East Sow Farm Manager Scott Schenker said "Aron is currently the head of the department at Ozark East Sow Farm. Aron initially worked with MVF from 1996 to 1998 before going to college. After finishing college he rejoined the company in 2000. The knowledge and experience Aron has possessed from the different roles and years of experience have contributed to him being a great leader, mentor, and friend. His great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to help others has been a huge asset to Ozark East Sow Farm. So thank you and congratulations on your 25 years." Help your employee family by donating to the Employee Benevolent Fund! It supports employees and their families who have endured monetary hardships through unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, medical conditions, injury, or death.
