“Kena McGhee has been an amazing farm manager, and has helped me in my moments I wanted to learn more about the farm and how certain things work. She is always down in the barn helping us, unless she has paperwork. Kena spent hours on trying to figure out the inlets when the weather changed so that it benefited the animals.” - Sandra Berten
“Tavia Cavallaro is always ready to help me with IT problems. She is prompt, has a wonderful attitude, and always fixes the issue.” - Amanda Rogers
“Carmen Weeks is newer to our team and has brought such positivity and light to our department! We have a big workload, and she never forgets a task. She has worked hard to learn how we do things and the different nuances of each brand. So happy to have her on our team!” - Morgan Jones
“Gwen Rivenbank is a wonderful co-worker. She is always ready to assist with invoices questions and payments. She always wears a smile and brightens up the office.” - Amanda Rogers
“Jake and Alex Henderson, both from the Heavy Equipment team, collaborated in the rain to address a leaking pipe at the Spearman broiler chicken farm. Fixing the problem necessitated shutting off water to the farm, yet they persevered through unfavorable weather conditions to quickly restore water access to the animals. Such collaborative efforts across departments underscore the dedication exhibited by these individuals. Their actions were greatly valued, both by myself and the farm staff.” - Justin Watson

CPR Training
“Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority at Murphy Family Ventures. We've recently focused on updating and systematizing First Aid, CPR, and AED training for our managers and supervisors. Thanks to collaboration with teaching institutions, training is underway at Albemarle Boats in Edenton, Saline County Training Center in Marshall, Missouri, Dover Conference Room in Sheldon, Missouri, and Sampson Community College in Clinton, North Carolina, with approximately 186 team members set to be trained. We've partnered with the American Heart Association for internationally recognized, cutting-edge training. This project is a significant investment, but the long-term benefits far outweigh the initial costs, keeping Murphy Family Ventures secure and forward-looking.” - Mike Brown, Safety Manager

Why do we Avoid Going to the Doctor?
We always find the time to do other things like go out to eat, attend an athletic event, visit family and friends, and go shopping. Have you ever given any thought that not taking care of yourself may be the cause of you not being able to enjoy those good times? There are so many preventive medical issues that you can take advantage of while your health is good, and by doing so, you stand a much greater chance of keeping your health.
