Holiday Cheer

Missouri employees came together to celebrate the Christmas season with a festive feast catered by Boomers BBQ! The celebration spanned two days to accommodate all the different farms and departments.

Scorecard Winners

Each month our sow farms participate in healthy competition in an effort to reward the highest levels of productivity. This is measured in three areas, farrowing rate, pigs weaned, and conception rate/RTU. Each of the winning teams receives a catered meal of their choice.

Join us in celebrating Megan Jensen's recent promotion to her new role as MFV's recruiter! Megan started with MFV in 2018 as a Manager Trainee at Taylors Bridge, then was promoted to farrowing HOD at NC Pack and later Assistant Farm Manager at Taylors Bridge. Her most recent position was Farm Manager at Mag 2. We're excited to see all of her experience reflected in this new role! Congratulations Megan! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘


🌟 Employee Spotlight 🌟

We're putting a spotlight on Kena McGhee who has been an invaluable part of MFV for 4 1/2 years! Throughout her journey, Kena has seamlessly transitioned from a trainee at Wheatrun to the Head of Department at Qualiridge, then Manager of Wheatrun, and now Farm Manager at Forest Oak Sow Farm in Missouri. Kena's introduction to MFV happened at the Oklahoma State career fair, where she learned about the company and its trainee program. Reflecting on that moment, Kena said, "It was just the job I had been hoping for." Kena has a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Finance as well as an associate's degree in Farm Management and Business Sustainability. Pictured with Kena is President and CEO Dell Murphy and her Forest Oak team. Kudos to Kena for her hard work and thank you for being part of our employee family! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘
